Nieuwegein, 20 november 2009 – Avaya kondigt aan dat de Europese Commissie de voorgestelde overname van de enterprise solutions-activiteiten van Nortel door Avaya heeft goedgekeurd. De overname is nog afhankelijk van aanvullend onderzoek voor wat betreft regelgeving. Avaya verwacht de transactie in december 2009 af te ronden.
