Marktaandeel in high-end firewall en SSL VPN opnieuw gegroeid

Schiphol-Rijk, 18 december 2009 – Juniper Networks heeft zijn positie in high-end netwerkbeveiliging en SSL VPN versterkt. Dat blijkt uit een rapport van Infonetics Research over de netwerkbeveiligingsmarkt in het derde kwartaal van 2009.

Volgens het rapport behaalde Juniper een groei van 9,2 procent in marktaandeel voor wat betreft high-end netwerk-appliances. Het bedrijf behoudt met 43,7 procent marktaandeel de leiding in dit segment. Juniper leidt ook de SSL VPN-markt met een aandeel van 31,7 procent. Het bedrijf is al sinds 2001 marktleider in dit segment.

 Juniper Networks Extends Leadership in Network Security Markets

 Juniper Gains Market Share and Widens Leadership Position in High-End Firewall and SSL VPN as Published by Infonetics Research

SUNNYVALE, Calif., December 16, 2009 – Juniper Networks® (NYSE: JNPR) today announced that it has extended its number one leadership position in high-end network security and SSL VPN categories and achieved the number two leadership position in the global secure routing category per a recently published report from Infonetics Research report titled, “3Q2009 Network Security Appliances and Software Market.”

According to the report, Juniper accomplished a market share gain of 9.2% over the previous year in high-end network security appliances market, and remains the clear leader with a 43.7% share of that market – the biggest share gain since Infonetics began tracking this category. Juniper also led the SSL VPN market at 31.7%, retaining the number one leadership position since the category’s inception in 2001.
